Better Streets consultation on crossings of St Mary's Street
Better Streets Scheme 10 proposed creating a continuous Cycle Route along Cornwall Mount to connect to the station with a segregated cycle track along one side of Cornwall Mount. As part of this, crossings of St Mary's Street were proposed on either side of the roundabout, which would connect pedestrians and cyclists more easily to the station, albeit not offering routes onwards along St Mary's Street.
Outcome: Better Streets Scheme 10 was not taken forward for further funding.
