Lochside Masterplan - improvements to Lochside Road

Council Approval Lochside Road - Some Progress

Wheatley Homes' Lochside Masterplan includes improvements for active travel on Lochside Road, with a cycle path separate from both traffic and pedestrians.

Outcome: The plans have been approved but this will not happen until Phase 2 which is is not due to start until 2028

Lochside Masterplan - improvements to Hardthorn Road

Council Approval Hardthorn Road - Some Progress

Wheatley Homes' Lochside Master plan includes imrovements for active travel by extending the shared use provision along the full length of Hardthorn Road, rather than ending at Carrick Avenue.

Outcome: The plans have been approved but it is not clear when the improvements are due to be made, but likely not until Phase 3 (2032-37)

Council Approval Crossing the bypass at the Cuckoo Bridge Roundabout - Some Progress

Wheatley Homes' Lochside Masterplan includes a potential footbridge over the A75, connecting to the Maxwelltown Cycleway.

Outcome: The plans have been approved but this will not happen until Phase 4 which is is not due to start until 2036
